Expectation Setting in a Transaction is key!

When it comes to milestones and timelines in a transaction, honesty and patience is important.
A recent client of mine had asked me when they should expect to know the outcome of the appraisal that happened that day. The reality is that information will actually take a few days to find out!
📣 If you’re applying for a mortgage, there needs to be an appraisal that happens where the value of the property is assessed. After that, it will then take an additional few days for the appraiser to inform the loan officer, so we can then share with our client what the assessed value is priced at.
So just know, when you get your appraisal and the listing agent is meeting with the appraiser that day to discuss, it will take a few more days to get the actual appraised value of your home!
